Black- Bay Raw Fiber

Our luscious alpaca fiber comes from the annual shearing of some of the finest alpacas in Virginia.  We use only the blanket fiber, taken from the back and sides of the animal.  Each order is traced to the alpaca from which it came.  Because there are no dye lots, the annual shearing from each animal ensures a match and the same fine quality.   

The fiber is carefully inspected before shipping, ensuring your order receives the same level of extra care and attention that we give to our herd.  Each order is shipped in a re-uable handmade burlap bag to minimize the carbon footprint of our processing.
